About Me
I hail from a small town- Raiganj, north of West Bengal, India. After my matriculation in 2015, I went to Kota for a couple of years to get coached for JEE (Advanced). Post that, I joined Jadavpur University in the Department of Electrical Engineering (2017-2021). I was extremely passionate about coaching students for JEE, and that's what I took up after my graduation for a couple of years (2021-2023), worked with Unacademy for a brief period, and together with a couple of trained faculties, planned our coaching institute Bodhiclasses. Parallelly, I was preparing for GATE CS and exploring the idea of pursuing a career in research. In Fall 2023, I secured admission in the School of Computing and Electrical Engineering, IIT Mandi for pursuing direct Ph.D., supervised by Dr. Siddharth Panwar, and had been on a wonderful journey ever since.
My pastimes include reading books (mostly non-fiction), playing Tabla, writing poems, occasionally reflecting about varied perspectives of life and our place in this Universe, and yes, I play a lot of Chess, albeit without any knowledge of theory whatsoever. I also have a knack for exploring Bharat's ancient treasure trove, and Ghiloo is a platform for expressing the same.
Trying to learn more about EEGs.
