Let's talk God

I have pondered over this question for a long, long time. Maybe this is the most disturbing questions I had ever faced. This is probably the first time when I have the requisite clarity to express it the way I feel about it, in a sharp and scientific tone - not totally objective but yes touching on both the subjective and objective aspects of it to try to be as balanced as I can, because this is the domain that has tormented millions in innumerable ways through the history of humanity into the present. The problem with this question is - it is extremely nuanced, sensitive and subtle. Hence, segmenting God into a mere idea, to the point of gross atheism won't do justice to the exploration of thousands of beings who are revered for being in an unfathomable state of existence.  This idea needs to be tackled in a holistic manner to do justice to the depth of what it is.
